Facilitator

Believing that “it’s all about them, not about me” makes Kelvin an effective, sought-after facilitator - that, and a natural ability to work the energy of a room.

Kelvin’s background in Human Kinetics and his 11 years of martial arts training, provide him with a solid platform for somatic training. He has successfully applied his insight into human communication as an Acting Coach at the ABS-CBN Center for Communication Arts; his students went on to star in prime time TV series, commercials, soap operas and Filipino feature films.

In any workshop he conducts, Kelvin focuses on a single goal: to unleash his students’ human potential – in body, mind and spirit. He brings to bear his skills as an acting coach to draw out their talents and allow them to ‘experience the learning’. His unique ability to engage people and win their trust help to make the lessons he teaches stick. He sometimes uses the martial arts as powerful metaphors. He is comfortable working with people aged five to eighty-five, from diverse backgrounds and professions: children, teens, designers, entrepreneurs, factory workers, actors, athletes and coaches.

Kelvin’s facilitation experience includes programs as diverse as “Influencing Skills” for managers in the international banking industry to participative theatre to impart the principles of Spiral Dynamics in a regional pharmaceutical company to team building for multinational fast moving consumer goods companies and government agencies.

In his quest for continuous learning, he has studied coaching skills in Hong Kong and interactive training strategies from Dr. Thiagi in Singapore.

On the personal front, Kelvin has studied and taught Arnis, Karate and Capoeira, He is a bemedalled SEA Games athlete and has been a freelance personal trainer, professional TV host, actor, singer and musician.
